Standard Terms of Service

Weekly Maintenance:

All turf areas that can be safely mowed, will be cut at a height of 3” – 3.5”. String trimming around buildings and other structures located inside the turf area. String trimming will not be done in areas where damage can occur to any property. If maintenance is requested in these areas, a non-selective herbicide will be used, at an additional cost. All paved surfaces will be blown clear of grass clippings and other debris. Weekly maintenance may be skipped in times of drought, as determined by Eagle Yard Service. If weekly maintenance is skipped at the customer’s request, the next scheduled service may incur additional charges for extra labor required to get property back into shape.

Dates of service:

Your property will be maintained on or about the same day each week. Your scheduled mowing day will be determined by Eagle Yard Service. In the event of rain, holidays, or other unforeseen events, all mowing will be pushed back one day.

Term of Service:

The length of contracted service is from 4/1 – 10/31. Service may be extended in the event of continued grass growth, and as long as leaves do not cover more than 40% of the turf areas.

Billing:

Billing is done on a monthly basis. If your scheduled mowing day is Sunday – Wednesday, your statement will be mailed on the 10th of each month with payment due by the 30th. If your scheduled day is Thursday – Saturday, your statement will be mailed on the 30th, with payment due by the 15th. If payment has not been made, by the next billing date, service will be suspended, until the account is made current. If service is suspended, there will be a fee assessed of $35 to reactivate your account, and in addition your next service may carry an extra fee to bring the property back into shape. Payments made more than five days after the due date will be assessed a late fee of $25.

Cancellation of contract:

This contract may be cancelled at any time by either party with written notice. If contract is cancelled all amounts due must be paid within seven days from cancellation. If additional services have been purchased and billed monthly (fertilization, aeration etc), the balance of all payments on those services are due regardless if service has been preformed or not.
